I would like to pass on some information that I received from GCA about upgrading an '84 T-1. This upgrade will allow you to use the 582 Rotax as a power plant.

Motor Support - The '84 has one motor support so another is added to make two - $?

Engine Mount and Hardware - GCA price $310.00

Leading Edge Spars x 2 - GCA price $183.75 ea.

Trailing edge spars x 2 - GCA price $203.00 ea.

Upgrade to 12 ribs, 6 ribs needed - GCA price 22.60 ea.

GCA uses an aftermarket Rabbit radiator for engine cooling - GCA price about 150.00

Misc. AN hardware etc. - $ ?

I got this informaiton from the GCA parts department and it appears for about $1500 you could do this upgrade. Thought this info may be useful. - Merlin
